Merck is the seventh largest pharmaceutical company in the world and is headquartered in Kenilworth, New Jersey.  The company was founded originally founded in 1668 in Germany.  The American subsidiary of the company was founded in 1891 and was nationalized by the U.S. government in 1917.

Hugo Boss

Admittedly, I have a lot to learn about Hugo Boss. The great thing is.. the company has a great website that really outlines who they are and their heritage. Looking forward to learning much more about Hugo Boss in the near future.

Bobcat

When I think of Bobcat, it is usually just like the picture on the front of the website. It's like a short tractor. The interesting thing about Bobcat is the values they inherit from their parent organization. Take a minute to see which one stands out as different. Enjoy!

John Deere

John Deere has their core values tied right to the beginning of their founding. They make a bold statement... "We live them. We breathe them. These values are the true essence of how we work and are in every product, service, and opportunity we offer you." John Deere is going to make a great study of history, longevity, and core values.

Pratt & Whitney

A world-wide aerospace manufacturer with a great history of innovation. As a side note, this is going to take more research to figure out the relationship with Pratt & Whitney the manufacturer founded in 1860.

Sherwin-Williams

When I think of Sherwin-Williams, the first thought is paint. And yes.. they are a paint company and much more. While beginning my research on Sherwin-Williams, the first thing that I noticed was their age... 148 years old! They were founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1866 by two men... Henry Sherwin and Edward Williams.

Airbus

Another great aerospace company. To be honest, there were a bunch of different values flying around the world of Airbus. The Airbus website has "Core Tenets," instead of core values, which were a bit longer in nature. I decided to default to the parent company, the Airbus Group, formerly known as EADS, in order to tie a clear set of core values back to Airbus.

Hasbro

I recently found my way to Hasbro.com through doing research on board games. Founded in 1923, Hasbro has a long an interesting history with many different brands that they manage. This is an interesting company to visit and learn more about.

Honda
